Hailed by Rolling Stone as “one of the best kept vocal secrets of the Southeast,” Caitlin Krisko & The Broadcast deliver a sound that’s as raw and electric as it is soulful. Blending the grit of rock & roll with deep roots and blues influences, the Asheville-based band has built a reputation for live performances that leave audiences spellbound, driven by Krisko’s powerhouse vocals and undeniable stage presence.
Since their rebrand in 2021, Caitlin Krisko & The Broadcast have cultivated a devoted following across the US and Europe, earning praise for emotive shows that feel both urgent and timeless. Their 2024 debut EP Blueprints cemented their place in the roots-rock landscape, with the single “Haunted By You” climbing to the top of Spotify’s Blues Balladsplaylist and drawing listeners in with themes of resilience, connection, and self-discovery.
The Broadcast’s momentum continues to build. They’ve shared stages with icons like Mavis Staples, Blackberry Smoke, Marcus King, and Margo Price, and remain a yearly highlight at the legendary FloydFest Buffalo Mountain Jam. In the studio, they’ve worked with renowned producers Eric Sarafin (Ben Harper, Foreigner) and Jim Scott (Tom Petty, Red Hot Chili Peppers), as well as members of Tedeschi Trucks Band, further sharpening their sound into something bold, soulful, and unmistakably their own.
